Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been appointed Delhi Capitals' head coach ahead of IPL 2027, replacing Hemang Badani. "I am looking forward to working with the squad... and building a strong and fearless team," Ganguly said. Ganguly had earlier mentored the team. Delhi Capitals, who finished sixth in IPL 2026, are yet to win the title.
