Anand Mahindra hailed para archers Sheetal Devi and Payal Nag, who defeated her idol Sheetal to become world's first quadruple amputee archer, calling them "source of motivation". "Whenever I'm feeling low or sorry for myself I'll look at [the] images of Payal and Sheetal again and remind myself what the words: courage, resilience and positive thinking, really mean," he stated.
