South African minister sent on 2-month leave for violating lockdown

South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa put Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams on a two-month leave after she violated the 21-day countrywide lockdown over lunch with a former official. "The president strongly believes that no one, including the minister, is above the law," a spokeswoman said. South Africa imposed the lockdown from March 27 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
