South Africa's Marais Erasmus named ICC Umpire of the Year

South Africa's Marais Erasmus has been named the ICC Umpire of the Year and the recipient of the David Shepherd Trophy at the ICC Awards on Thursday. Erasmus was selected after a vote by the ICC's elite panel of match referees and Test-playing captains. Erasmus, who officiated in the recent India-England Test series, is the fifth recipient of the trophy.
