South India to get respite from heatwave from May 7

Heatwave conditions prevailing over southern Peninsular India are likely to abate from May 7, according to the India Meteorological Department. IMD said, “Heat wave conditions will likely abate over East India today and south Peninsular India from tomorrow onwards.” “Wet spell accompanied with thunderstorms likely over East & south Peninsular India till 10th May,” it added.
