South Korea plans national AI program with startup push

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT will select a lead AI developer via competitive bidding after budget approval, possibly by February. The program invites startups, universities, and researchers to form consortiums or special-purpose vehicles, pooling computing chips, data, and talent to strengthen South Korea's global AI standing.
