South Korean citizen crosses armed border to enter North Korea

An unidentified South Korean crossed the heavily armed border into North Korea, the South Korean military said. As per the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), a person was detected on Saturday night on the eastern side of the Demilitarised Zone separating the two nations. Seoul appealed for the person's safety after the military could not confirm the person's whereabouts.
