South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol withdraws martial law order hours after declaring it

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has withdrawn the emergency martial law order, six hours after declaring it. This comes after South Korean MPs voted unanimously against the imposition of martial law at a midnight session of the National Assembly to denounce the President's decision. It was the first time in nearly five decades South Korea imposed a martial law.
