South Korean watchdog says Google abused its Android app store position

South Korea's antitrust regulator on Wednesday said that Google abused its dominant position in the Android app marketplace to hinder competition. The regulator further alleged that Google's abuse of its dominance affected about $9.1 billion in revenue. Google offered developers financial support for using Google's services, provided they launched games on Google's Play Store, the regulator added.
