South Korea’s total COVID-19 caseload surpasses 10 million cases

Authorities on Wednesday said South Korea's total COVID-19 caseload surpassed 10 million cases, or close to 20% of the country's population. The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) on Tuesday reported 490,881 new COVID-19 cases, the second-highest daily tally. The total caseload now stands at 10,427,247 and 13,432 deaths. Almost 87% of the population is fully vaccinated.
