Southern states were misled before, will gain seats: Rijiju on delimitation

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said delimitation process, which will be carried out for the implementation of 33% women's reservation in legislatures by 2029, will not be politically disadvantageous to southern states. Rijiju stated southern states were misled that they would lose seats in delimitation exercise since they followed population control norms and added southern states will gain seats.
