Southern states which stabilised their population won't lose LS seats: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi said the Centre will ensure that southern states, which have managed to stabilise their population, do not lose Lok Sabha seats. He assured that government will provide a legal guarantee to protect their representation. Centre plans to increase Lok Sabha seats from 543 to 816, with 273 seats reserved for women after delimitation based on 2011 Census.
