Southwest monsoon likely to withdraw from Pune by October 7: IMD

The southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from Pune by October 7, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. "Till October 5, chances of rainfall in Pune city are less...if rains occur it'll be a very short spell in afternoon/evening time," an official added. "But from October 5 evening onwards, marginally rain chances are likely to increase...till October 6," the official stated.
