Soviet spy's grandson launches Presidential bid in France

French centre-left politician Raphaël Glucksmann launched his presidential bid on Sunday. The European Parliament member and co-leader of Public Square party is challenging Jean-Luc Mélenchon to lead Left against Marine Le Pen, the National Rally leader and frontrunner for 2027 election. He's the grandson of Rubin Glucksmann, a Soviet spy who took part in Soviet intervention in Spanish Civil War.
