SP student wing leader's arrest sparks violence at BHU

Supporters of a Samajwadi Party student wing leader at Banaras Hindu University on Wednesday vandalised an ATM, damaged over 40 vehicles, and set a school bus on fire after the leader was arrested. They also forcibly closed two university gates, including the main entrance, for around an hour. The accused was booked in three cases of extortion.
