SP Velumani may replace EPS as AIADMK chief amid rift in party: Reports

AIADMK senior leader SP Velumani might replace former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami as AIADMK General Secretary amid an alleged rift within the party, Republic World reported, citing sources. The development comes after more than 30 AIADMK MLAs-elect had reportedly urged the party leadership to support Vijay’s TVK in forming the government in Tamil Nadu.
