Spacecraft meant to land on Venus in 1970s to crash into Earth next week

Kosmos-482, a Soviet-era spacecraft launched in 1972, is expected to crash into Earth next week. The spacecraft, originally intended to land on Venus, has been orbiting Earth for 50-plus years due to a rocket malfunction that stranded it in orbit. Dutch scientist Marco Langbroek estimated that the spacecraft will come crashing in at 242 kmph if it remains intact.
