SpaceX catches both fairing halves for the first time with Falcon 9 launch

SpaceX for the first time managed to catch both halves of the fairing on Falcon 9, which launched on Tuesday carrying a South Korean military satellite, said CEO Elon Musk. The fairing is a two-piece protective cover that surrounds the cargo as the rocket ascends through Earth's atmosphere. SpaceX reused the rocket within just 51 days, setting a new record.
