SpaceX Mars rocket engine achieves launch power levels: Musk

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to announce the Raptor flight engine has achieved the power levels needed for use in the Starship rocket designed for human Mars missions. The engine reached 172 metric tons of force, Musk said. He had earlier suggested nearly 31 Raptor engines could be attached to Starship's launch rocket Super Heavy.
