SpaceX's purpose is to make 'Star Trek' real, says Elon Musk

Billionaire Elon Musk recently spoke about SpaceX's "purpose" at its South Texas facility. He said, "We want to make 'Star Trek' [and] Starfleet Academy real....It's not always science fiction. One day, science fiction turns into 'science fact'." He added, "We have big spaceships that go beyond our star system....We may meet aliens. I don't know...But, we want to go."
