SpaceX has unveiled a new vertical 'Starshield', which will provide "government entities" with a "secured satellite network". "While Starlink is designed for consumer and commercial use, Starshield is designed for government use," SpaceX wrote on its website. It added the system will have an initial focus on three areas, namely, earth observation, communications and hosted payloads.
