Spain announces new €1 billion aid package for war-torn Ukraine

Spain will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth €1 billion in 2025, as part of a 10-year bilateral defence agreement. During a Kyiv summit, Spain PM Pedro Sanchez reiterated support for Ukraine, stressing its involvement in peace talks. The summit, involving European leaders, was held on February 24, which was third anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war.
