Spain name squad for FIFA WC 2026, no Real Madrid player included

Spain announced 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026. For the first time in Spain's history, a World Cup squad has been named without a single Real Madrid player. Meanwhile, eight Barcelona players including Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Gavi, have been included in the squad. Notably, Spain had exited World Cup 2022 in the Round of 16.
