Spain reach FIFA World Cup semi-finals for 2nd time in history, to face France

Spain reached FIFA World Cup semi-finals for the first time since 2010 and second time overall after defeating Belgium 2-1 in the quarter-final. Spain's Fabián Ruiz opened the scoring in the 30th minute before Belgium's Charles De Ketelaere equalised in the 41st. Substitute Mikel Merino struck the winner in the 88th minute. Spain will face France in semi-finals.
