Spain's WC-winning head coach De la Fuente agrees contract extension until 2030

Spain's World Cup-winning head coach Luis de la Fuente has agreed to a contract extension until the FIFA World Cup 2030, reports stated. The 65-year-old, who led Spain to the Euro 2024 title before winning the World Cup in July, had a contract until 2028. Since taking ​over, De la Fuente's ​Spain ⁠have been defeated twice in 41 competitive matches.
