Special Swachhata Campaign 6.0 has covered 8,34,509 cleanliness sites and generated ₹491.28 crore through scrap disposal as of October 19, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said. Site coverage rose 3x over Campaign 5.0. Railways alone contributed ₹425 crore. Over 116 lakh sq ft of space has been freed. The campaign runs till October 31.
