Special cells with attached bathrooms for VIP inmates in Mumbai jail soon

VIP inmates in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail will soon be granted upgraded living quarters with facilities like adequate ventilation, western-style toilets, attached bathrooms and fans. They will also be given mattresses, bedsheets and served food in melamine crockery, prison authorities said. The newly upgraded living quarters will be handed over to the prison authorities by the end of October.
