Actor Mel Gibson criticised California Governor Gavin Newsom over the wildfires in Los Angeles that have ruined at least 12,000 structures, including the homes of several Hollywood celebrities. When asked what message he would like to give Newsom, Gibson replied, "Spend less on hair gel." Gibson said when he went to his house, "nothing was left".
