SpiceJet pays staff salaries in phases amid cash crunch: Report

SpiceJet has paid May salaries to junior and support staff, while payments to remaining employees are being released in phases amid ongoing liquidity stress, CNBC-TV18 reported. It currently operates about 85 daily flights, down from a proposed 140, and is also facing an insolvency petition. Separately, SpiceJet's domestic market share declined to 1.9% in June, down from 3.9% in January.
