SpiceJet repays ₹100-crore loan to City Union Bank

SpiceJet has completed the repayment of ₹100-crore loan to City Union Bank, thereby shutting the loan account opened in 2012. The last tranche of ₹25 crore was paid on June 30, 2023. This released all securities of SpiceJet that had been pledged with the bank, the airline said. Last year, SpiceJet pledged two crore shares with the bank as collateral.
