SpiceJet seeks more time to pay ₹50 crore instalment it owes Maran
Cash-strapped SpiceJet on Monday sought more time from the Delhi High Court to deposit the first ₹50 crore instalment of the ₹144.5 crore it owes Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways. The airline said it used the first government emergency credit tranche received in June for operations. SpiceJet is awaiting a second ₹349 crore tranche to meet its payment obligations.
