Sponsored protests were never about students: BJP on protests

BJP leader Amit Malviya criticised the Opposition protests over the police action during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) march, claiming they were "never about students". He said no affected student was given a platform and accused Opposition leaders of using the protests for political relevance. Malviya also claimed the Congress and AAP were now "squabbling over credit".
