S'pore Airlines flight escorted by fighter jets after bomb threat; 1 held

Fighter jets escorted a Singapore Airlines plane to land at Changi Airport on Wednesday after a 37-year-old male passenger made a bomb threat, Singapore's Defence Ministry said. The man on board the flight from San Francisco claimed there was a bomb in his hand luggage. The threat was subsequently found to be false and man has been arrested, it added.
