S'pore founder's grandson to pay ₹8.1L as fine over Facebook post

Li Shengwu, the grandson of Singapore's founding leader Lee Kuan Yew, said that he'll pay ₹8.1 lakh in fine over a Facebook post that reportedly questioned the independence of the country's judiciary. "I disagree that my words were illegal," Li said about the 2017 post. However, Li said he'll pay the fine "in order to buy some peace and quiet".
