Sports Ministry issues show-cause notice to boxing federation over several violations

The Sports Ministry on Monday issued a show-cause notice to the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) over its "ambiguous" selection policy that "does not appear to be transparent". The ministry also flagged BFI's failure to make key appointments despite repeated reminders. It added that it has received "multiple grievances" regarding BFI's overall functioning and sought a reply within seven days.
