Spotify to lay off 200 employees in podcast division

Spotify on Monday announced it would lay off 200 employees in its podcast division, representing about 2% of its global workforce. The company said it's making a "strategic realignment" as part of its efforts to partner with "leading podcasters from across the globe with a tailored approach". Earlier this year, the music streaming company laid off 6% of its workforce.
