Square CEO to step down after 9 yrs at firm, Dorsey to take over
Square CEO Alyssa Henry is stepping down after over nine years at the payments solutions arm of Twitter Co-founder Jack Dorsey's Block on October 2. Dorsey, who founded Square in 2009 with Jim McKelvey and is currently working as Block Head and Chairperson, will take on additional role as Square Head. Henry previously worked as VP at Amazon Web Services.
