Sri Lanka Cricket clears Eshan Malinga to play IPL 2026

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Eshan Malinga to participate in the upcoming IPL 2026. The right-arm pacer who took 13 wickets in seven games in IPL 2025 was retained by SunRisers Hyderabad for 2026 edition at a price of ₹1.20 crore. Notably, Wanindu Hasaranga and Matheesha Pathirana are still awaiting clearance for IPL.
