Sri Lanka Cricket face ₹188 crore loss as Women's Champions Trophy moved to India

Sri Lanka Cricket could reportedly lose around $20 million (₹188 crore) in revenue after the ICC moved the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 from Sri Lanka to India. The estimated loss includes hosting-related income from sponsorship, ticketing, hospitality and other commercial opportunities. India will stage the six-team tournament from February 14-28 in Mumbai and Vadodara.
