Sri Lanka evacuates 208 people from Iranian ship after US strike

Sri Lanka evacuated 208 crew members from the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Bushehr after a US submarine sank the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena near its waters. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said Sri Lanka acted to save lives while remaining neutral. The navy will move the vessel to Trincomalee, while Iranian crew and cadets will be brought ashore for safety.
