Sri Lanka hikes fuel prices; petrol at an all-time high of 420 Sri Lankan rupees

Sri Lanka has raised its petrol and diesel prices by 24.3% and 38.4%, respectively, a record hike in fuel prices amid the nation's worst economic crisis. The Octane 92 petrol would now cost LKR 420/litre and diesel LKR 400/litre, an all-time high. "Work from home will be encouraged to minimise the use of fuel," tweeted Power and Energy Minister.
