Sri Lanka invites Indian investments in several sectors of economy

Sri Lanka's Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa has invited Indian investments in the country's ports, infrastructure, energy, power and manufacturing sectors. Rajapaksa has assured a conducive environment would be provided that would benefit both sides. Notably, this comes days after India provided over $900 million in financial assistance to Sri Lanka amid a foreign exchange reserve crisis.
