Sri Lanka looks for friendly settlement of Chinese ship issue: PM

Sri Lanka is looking forward to settling the issue of a Chinese research vessel's visit to the country with an "approach of friendship", Sri Lankan PM Dinesh Gunawardena said on Tuesday. Speaking about India and China, Gunawardena said, "Both countries are our close friends." The vessel is "coming to refuel and not for any other purpose", an official said.
