Sri Lanka PM office denies reports of PM's resignation amid economic crisis

Amid the economic crisis, Sri Lanka PM's Office has dismissed reports of PM Mahinda Rajapaksa’s resignation. Earlier, a media report mentioned possible resignations of the PM as well as Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa. Sri Lanka has declared a countrywide emergency amid escalating protests over the economic crisis that has led to a shortage of fuel, and food among other things.
