Sri Lanka seeks early start to ferry service with India

Sri Lankan officials have requested their Indian counterparts to start passenger ferry services between the two countries at an early date. The discussion took place between Joint Secretary of the Indian Ocean Region Puneet Agarwal and Sri Lankan Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva on Tuesday. The meeting was scheduled to enhance maritime cooperation.
