Sri Lanka signs 20-yr deal to buy power from Adani Green for ₹6.9/kWh

Sri Lanka has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Adani Green Energy for the development of 484 MW of wind power stations in the country's Mannar and Pooneryn. The company will be paid $0.0826 per kWh (₹6.9/kWh) under the deal, Sri Lankan Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said. The company won the approval for $442 million plants last year.
