Sri Lankan woman critical after suicide attempt in Kerala

A Sri Lankan woman is in critical condition at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College after allegedly attempting suicide over a relationship issue. She had come to Kerala to meet her married lover from Kadinamkulam, but was turned away by him and his family. Heartbroken, she checked into a hotel and consumed an overdose of paracetamol, after which staff rushed her to hospital.
