Sridhar Vembu calls for death penalty for high-level corruption

Zoho Co-founder Sridhar Vembu has asked Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay to consider adopting Singapore-style laws to tackle drug dealing and high-level corruption. He proposed the death penalty for future corruption cases involving ministers and top officials. "We should declare an amnesty for past sins so we do not endlessly debate the past," he added.
