Srijit Mukherji replaces Rahul Dholakia as Shabaash Mithu director

Filmmaker Srijit Mukherji, who has helmed films like 'Begum Jaan' and 'Gumnaami', has been roped in to direct Taapsee Pannu-starrer 'Shabaash Mithu', an upcoming biopic on Indian cricketer Mithali Raj. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Rahul Dholakia. Sharing the news on Twitter, Rahul wrote, "COVID messed up everyone's schedules, mine was no different."
