Srikanth reaches his 1st final of the season with US Open semi win

Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth advanced to his first final of the season after defeating Japan's Yudai Okimoto in the men's singles semi-final at the US Open 2026 badminton tournament in California on Sunday (IST). Srikanth beat Okimoto 22-20, 15-21, 21-19 in one hour and 12 minutes. The 33-year-old will face Chinese Taipei's Su Li-yang in the final on Monday (IST).
